Nsimbi Duo

GNL Zamba the king of Lugaflow may be out of the region physically but his heart stays home. The HipHop star’s Baboon Forest Entertainment in partnership with his duo Nsimbi are launching the Uganda Yaffe Festival – online!

The festival celebrating Uganda’s Independence Day will premier online on 8th October and the show will be live on Baboon Forest’s Facebook and YouTube platforms starting at exactly 9pm. (EAT) This 1st edition will be a 90-minute long free online show celebrating the diverse culture and the people of Uganda.

The festival will feature some of Uganda’s most prominent and celebrated world artists and personalities. GNL Zamba, as well as his duo Nsimbi with Miriam Tamar will perform from their residence in USA. They’ll be joined by Ugandans from around the world, including jazz star Isaiah Katumwa, Suzan Kerunen, Kinobe, Nylah Abitimo-Jones and many others.

The show will also feature a youth project of the newly remixed by Baru and GNL ‘Uganda Yaffe’ tune that features new generation artists like Fresh Kid, Tuarus, Prolific, Maxi, Joyie 7 star and Kadabrah.

The Uganda Yaffe Festival and remix are an Independence Day gift from Baboon Forest Entertainment to highlight Uganda’s rich culture and diversity while bringing people together to celebrate what makes Uganda so unique.

Baboon Forest Entertainment’s mission stays the same- to deliver impactful and exciting entertainment that bridges the gaps between generations.

This concert will be a first of many editions to come.
